Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions define the main rules for reservations, stays and use of services provided by Hotel Jaguar. Please read them before confirming a reservation.

This page is a practical template. The final legal text should be reviewed and validated by the hotel management or legal advisor before publication.

1. Identification

Hotel Jaguar is operated by Hotel Jaguar Oporto, Lda., located at Rua da Constituição: 209, 211, 221 / 4200-198 Porto / Portugal.

2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to reservations made directly with the hotel, through the official website, by email, by telephone or through authorised partners and booking platforms.

By confirming a reservation, the guest acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as any specific conditions shown during the booking process.

3. Reservations

Reservations are subject to availability and are only considered confirmed after written confirmation from the hotel or from the booking platform used by the guest.

The guest is responsible for providing accurate personal details, contact information, arrival dates, number of guests and any special requests.

Special requests, including parking, electric charging, shuttle service, accessibility needs or room preferences, are subject to availability and must be confirmed by the hotel.

4. Check-in and check-out

Check-in and check-out times may vary according to the reservation conditions. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

At check-in, guests may be required to present a valid identification document, reservation confirmation and a payment method or guarantee.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in euros and may include or exclude taxes, city fees or other charges depending on the booking channel and applicable law.

The hotel may request prepayment, a deposit or a valid payment guarantee according to the selected rate and reservation conditions.

Any extra services used during the stay, including parking, charging, minibar, restaurant, bar or other hotel services, must be paid according to the prices in force at the time of use.

6. Cancellations, changes and no-shows

Cancellation and change conditions depend on the selected rate, booking channel and dates of stay.

Non-refundable or promotional rates may not allow free cancellation or changes.

In case of no-show, late cancellation or early departure, the hotel may charge the amounts defined in the reservation conditions.

7. Guest responsibilities

Guests must use the hotel facilities responsibly, respect other guests and follow the instructions provided by hotel staff.

The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the room, equipment, vehicles, common areas or hotel property by themselves or by people under their reservation.

The hotel may refuse or terminate a stay if guest behaviour affects safety, comfort, hygiene, public order or the normal operation of the hotel.

8. Parking and electric charging

Parking may be available for hotel guests, subject to availability and prior request.

Electric vehicle charging may be available for hotel vehicles and guest vehicles at the prices and conditions in force. The desired charging time must be requested in advance at reception.

9. Airport transfer and shuttle service

The hotel may provide transfer or shuttle services between the airport and the hotel, subject to availability, prior booking and operational conditions.

The schedules, vehicle type and conditions of the service must be confirmed directly with the hotel.

10. Smoking, pets and safety

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas, if any. Smoking in non-smoking rooms or prohibited areas may result in cleaning or damage charges.

Pets are only accepted if expressly authorised by the hotel and may be subject to specific rules or additional charges.

Guests must comply with safety, fire prevention and hygiene rules applicable in the hotel.

11. Complaints Book

The Complaints Book is available in the legally required formats. Guests may request assistance at reception or access the official online platform.

12. Personal data and privacy

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the hotel Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Guests should consult the Privacy Policy for information about data collection, purposes, retention periods and rights.

13. Changes to these terms

The hotel may update these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary. The version published on the website at the time of reservation or use of the services will apply.

14. Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply.
